Faisal Azaiza

Prof. Faisal Azaiza is the father of four children and lives in his native village of Daburriya.

He is the president of Sakhnin Academic College for Teacher Training.

Since 1993, he has been senior faculty member at the University of Haifa in the Faculty of Welfare and Health Sciences and the School of Social Work.

Prof. Azaiza has published many articles and edited books on health and welfare issues in Arab society in Israel and the changes that are taking place in this society. He has been a leading partner in organizing academic conferences on these issues.

Prof. Azaiza is an active partner in the development, establishment, and management of clubs and day centers for the elderly and in the establishment of enriched preschool centers and community centers.

Over the years, Prof. Azaiza has held a series of senior positions both in the academic world and in the public and business sectors on the national and international levels.
