That is where the policy and decision-making process are determined.
Arab society cannot afford to sit at home and not exercise the right to vote of over a million citizens who can change the political map and influence internal decisions within the country and also regionally. A high turnout in Knesset elections, as in local elections, is essential and critical and constitutes a cornerstone.
The second side is the real Arab-Jewish partnership, not for show. Not declarations without execution and a one-time decorative representation.
A third, complementary side will be expressed in the warm hand and shoulder extended by allies in Jewish society in order to continue the long and difficult process of changing the discourse within Israeli society from the perspective that democracy means a state for all its citizens without superiority or dependence. But rather a sincere and sustainable Jewish-Arab partnership, especially in light of the retreat in all the foundations of democracy that are lacking anyway.
The members of Arab society, born in the country and citizens of the state, have shown responsibility and belonging and are not obliged to prove their innocence in every internal and regional crisis. A sincere partnership alliance needs partners from Israeli society in every matter in order to change the discourse and attitude in daily life, in the media, in institutions and on every level, down to the conversation in the living room in the evening.
Let's raise our voices so we don't lose everything. All of us. All of its citizens. So that we can live in the country and the region in a natural and humane way like the rest of the world.
