First conference of the Sadat-Begin Association for Culture and Peace held in Tamra

The first conference of the Sadat-Begin Association for Culture and Peace, held in Tamra, was a success, with the participation of many figures and figures from Israel, Jordan, and Egypt - including a delegation from the "All Its Citizens" party, former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, former Minister of Justice Dan Meridor, the spiritual president of the Druze community Muafek Tarif, and Sheikh Samir Assi from Acre. Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav also participated.

Everyone spoke about the need for the State of Israel to belong to all its citizens, the need to resolve the conflict instead of managing it, an immediate end to the war, and the promotion of peace in the region.

The goal of the conference was to strengthen the culture of peace between the peoples of the Middle East and the people of Israel, break the stalemate in the peace process, and open new horizons for peace initiatives.

The conference held in-depth discussions on a number of important issues, primarily an assessment of the peace agreement between Egypt and Israel in light of the current tensions, alongside a review of economic ties between the two countries.

The All Citizens Party was represented at the conference by member Mohammed Yahya, the party’s co-secretary general. He gave a speech in which he emphasized the importance of Jewish-Arab partnership. He stated that the party “Kol Ezrahia” is committed to upholding national and gender equality within the party, and that change in Israel is possible only through joint Jewish-Arab cooperation. He added that it is time for Israel to find solutions to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict instead of just managing the conflict. He also noted that while Israel has an absolute Jewish majority, it must be a state for all its citizens.
