It is not just the press that is under attack, but the entire Palestinian culture and civilization.

Today, the IDF bombed a building that houses the largest archaeological collection in the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday, in an attack on the neighborhood where the young Palestinian soccer player, the boy Muhammad Ramez Sultan, lived, the Israeli Air Force launched two missiles at buildings, which led to the killing of the boy-player along with 14 members of his family, with the entire family being wiped off the face of the earth.

Last week, Israeli warplanes launched two missiles at the Al-Jazeera Sports Club in Gaza, completely destroying it. Al-Jazeera plays in the third division, and its facilities include a multi-purpose sports hall, a five-on-five soccer field, and a field designated for the disabled.

Of course, no one has heard of this event, as it is "normal" and "routine" in the eyes of the blind Israeli press, which is racist in its selection and dissemination of news, flatters the government, and lacks the compass of a free and fair press.

We note that the Israeli military has been targeting sports infrastructure since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, when 273 sports facilities were destroyed in Palestine, in addition to 15 sports facilities in the occupied West Bank.

All of these things cannot be described as coincidences: the destruction of the Palestinian press and journalists, the destruction of Palestinian universities and schools, the destruction of sports facilities and athletes, the destruction of hospitals, medical teams and rescue teams, the destruction of UNRWA facilities that have been operating since the Nakba, the destruction of the towers and high-rise residential buildings – none of this is coincidence. This is an attempt to destroy Palestinian culture and civilization itself, and not just Palestinian citizens.

These criminal acts pose a danger not only to the Palestinian people and their culture, but also to the civilization of the Israeli people and the Jewish state they built for themselves.

The danger to the Israeli people is very clear: in a change in the way of thinking honestly, in the acceptance of dictatorial and fascist acts and their understanding, in a change in the way of thinking and behavior of the army not only at the level of command and discipline but also at the level of the young soldiers. In the country becoming a country of military piracy and in the guerrilla wars it waged against other countries – not only hostile but also friendly. In turning its back not only on the great friendly country, the United States, but also on other European countries that have protected the State of Israel and helped build it since its establishment.

The danger lies in the people's transformation from humane and democratic values to values that endanger their existence and fate, after the phrase "internal civil war" became an accepted and debatable term, and was even sometimes discussed in the media as if it were a possible future event.
