No to uprooting citizens from their homes! The State of Israel is the home of all its citizens!

The All Citizens Party strongly condemns the widespread campaign of house demolitions in the Negev, which leaves dozens of families homeless and without any solution or humane response, neither from the government nor from any other party in the country. The families are being housed in school classrooms like the refugee camps in the schools of Gaza.

The demolition of homes in the Negev and the expulsion of families from their homes, which have recently become routine, without any government plan for an alternative, without a humane response to the problem of the refugees whose homes have already been destroyed, and to the hundreds of others whose homes will probably be destroyed in the near future, is a crime against citizens of a country who are neither criminals nor terrorists, but citizens who live with a housing problem that the state is not solving and that has continued since the existence of the state.

Next week, more than 60 residential homes are expected to be demolished, and within a month and a half, another 200 homes will be demolished, without even a temporary solution for these families. And this is happening in the democratic state of Israel with its crumbling values, when it comes to Arab citizens, not settlers.

The All Citizens Party calls for an immediate halt to the demolition campaign and the expulsion of families right onto the street, providing temporary solutions for these families, and preparing a comprehensive government plan for the housing problem of the residents of the Negev. The residents of the Negev will be part of preparing a solution that must be agreed upon by all and not forced.

The housing problem in the Negev requires a solution. Destroying the lives of thousands of citizens is not the solution.
