Trump's bad plan

The outline as published last night is a bad outline. There is no reason for the ceasefire to be limited to sixty days. There is no reason for five strokes for the release of 10 live hostages and 18 more dead. Why not one stroke for everyone?

Regarding guarantees – my proposal is that Trump give a guarantee to Israel and Hamas:

If Hamas tries to strengthen and restore its power, Israel will be allowed to return to fighting in Gaza and eliminate Hamas. If they maintain the ceasefire and do not try to strengthen, the US will guarantee its continuation.

It is clear to all of us that Hamas cannot continue to control Gaza, but this must be handled by the Palestinians and the Arab states.
